Royal Qissa Events was never just about weddings for us — it was about storytelling, legacy, and creating moments that feel deeply personal.
As a couple, we have always believed that the most beautiful celebrations are the ones filled with meaning. The laughter between family members, the emotional embraces before a bride walks in, the late-night planning sessions, the tiny details nobody notices individually but everyone feels together — those are the moments that stay with people forever. Those are the moments that inspired us to begin Royal Qissa Events.
The word “Qissa” means story, and that became the heart of everything we do. Every couple has a story. Every family carries traditions, memories, cultures, and dreams that deserve to be honored in a beautiful way. We wanted to create a company that goes beyond décor and timelines — a company that helps bring those stories to life.
What started as a shared passion between the two of us slowly grew into something much bigger. We found joy in transforming spaces, calming overwhelmed brides, coordinating meaningful traditions, and watching families celebrate without stress. We realized this work wasn’t just event planning for us — it was a way to serve people during some of the most important moments of their lives.

Ukiah is the lead planner behind Royal Qissa Events, specializing in luxury South Asian weddings and celebrations across North Carolina.
With a passion for storytelling through design, Ukiah believes every event should reflect the unique journey of the couple and their families. From intimate Nikah ceremonies to grand multi-day wedding celebrations, she combines meticulous planning, creative vision, and seamless execution to create unforgettable experiences.
Known for her calm presence, attention to detail, and personalized approach, Ukiah works closely with each client to transform their vision into a beautifully curated event.
